Katherine is an international educator, leader, and coach who is passionate about helping people recognize their strengths, expand their perspectives, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Over nearly two decades, Katherine has lived and worked across Latin America, Asia, and the United States as a teacher, instructional coach, school leader, and leader of educational travel and outdoor education programs. Her doctoral research explored how thoughtfully designed educational travel experiences can foster intercultural growth, bringing together her interests in human development, experiential learning, and transformational change. Throughout her career, Katherine has guided people through unfamiliar environments, meaningful challenges, and important transitions, helping them turn new experiences into opportunities for reflection and growth.
Katherine’s coaching is warm, reflective, and grounded in curiosity. She creates a supportive space where clients can examine their experiences from new perspectives, reconnect with their values, and identify practical steps toward their personal and professional goals. Drawing on her experience in international education, educational travel, and outdoor experiential learning, she understands the transformative power of stepping beyond one’s comfort zone. She believes lasting growth begins with greater self-awareness and flourishes when people feel both supported and challenged.
When she is not coaching, Katherine is an educational leader at a bilingual school in Quito, Ecuador. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, reading, and drinking coffee in her hummingbird garden.
